Willow - CO

Willow is a sweet, timid 3‑year‑old German Shorthaired Pointer looking for her forever home. She was rescued as a puppy and has been loved her whole life, but due to changes in her owner’s circumstances, she is now being fostered by her grandparents while APWGSPR helps her find the right match.

Willow warms up slowly but becomes very affectionate once she feels safe. She does well with other dogs, is housebroken and crate trained, and has been non‑destructive when left loose. She knows basic commands and would benefit from continued training to build confidence.

Her foster family describes her as smart, gentle, and a total “love sponge.” Willow will make a wonderful companion for a patient, caring family.
