Maisie - CO

Maisie is an 18-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer with all the classic GSP traits you’d expect. Her prey drive is on-point—as are her snuggles once the sun goes down. During the day, she loves hanging out in the yard (within a tall fence, please!) and makes a fantastic hiking buddy!

Maisie hasn’t had much formal training yet, but she's smart and should learn quickly. She mastered the doggie door in just five minutes, is learning to come when called (unless there’s a squirrel), and is working on other basics. She’s kennel-trained, quiet overnight, and content when left for a few hours. Maisie doesn’t bark or whine much, and she’s not destructive in the house—though she will happily counter-surf if given the chance.

Maisie adores people and greets everyone she meets with enthusiastic tail wags and requests for petting and attention. At under 40 pounds, she’s a petite little pointer with an irresistible face. Everyone who meets her, loves her.

Maisie was previously placed in a home with other dogs; while she enjoyed walking with them outside, they did not get along well indoors. She’ll do best as an only dog or with confident, patient owners who can help her adjust to the right canine companions.
