Meet Brew!

Brew is a 1 year, 8 month old, 56‑lb German Shorthaired Pointer mix with a big personality, a bigger heart, and energy for days. This handsome boy is smart, and deeply affectionate—a true velcro dog once he bonds with you.

Brew loves to work and play and thrives when he has a job to do. He’ll happily bring you toys to start a game, settle in a sunny spot to recharge, or burrow under the covers for some cozy downtime. When he’s feeling extra excited, you might hear his signature “wookie” sounds, and fair warning—his squeaky yawns are impossibly cute. Face kisses and hand licks are included at no extra charge.

This active guy enjoys chewing, engaging his brain, and being involved in whatever his people are doing. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be with you, not just near you.

When it comes to other dogs, Brew is selective. He does well with some dogs but can be reactive with others. Because of this, Brew would thrive as an only dog or potentially with a well‑matched, calm canine companion in a home that understands how to support positive interactions. Working with a trainer and continuing confidence‑building routines will help Brew succeed and feel secure.

Brew is not a good fit for homes with cats or other small animals due to prey drive. His experience with kids is currently unknown.
