Rodgers - CO

Rodgers is 2 yrs old and is being surrendered because life changed for his family and they can no longer give him the life he deserves. Rodgers has good house manners, knows a few good commands that he's been taught, so he has skills! He does good in a crate but seems to also do well free roaming in the house. He gets along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. He enjoys meeting new people and would be a great adventure dog or weekend warrior. We were told that he had separation anxiety and he was destructive, but we have not experienced that with him. It could be because his previous family worked long hours leaving him at home and he likely didn't get enough exercise. We do believe he would do best in a home where his people were home more than away, someone who can give him the exercise a young male needs and another dog would be good too, but not necessarily required. We are unsure how he is with smaller kids, but would likely do well with older kids, 12 and up.
