Diamond

Diamond is a 7-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) with a calm disposition and a heart full of love. This affectionate 48-pound girl is the definition of a Velcro dog, happiest when she's close to her people. Sweet, gentle, and cuddly, Diamond loves spending her evenings snuggled up on the couch with her family.

Diamond enjoys getting out for a morning walk or hike and walks well on a leash. After some fresh air and exercise, she's more than happy to settle in for a nap by your side. She loves spending time outdoors, especially relaxing in a fenced yard and watching squirrels. While she occasionally gets the zoomies, she's generally a laid-back girl who simply enjoys being outside. Whether she's heading out on an adventure or riding along to the next destination, Diamond loves car rides and is a calm, relaxed passenger.

Diamond enjoys meeting new people and is always waiting at the door to greet you when you come home. Even when she's excited, she's never overbearing or rambunctious. She gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes, and we believe she would thrive in a home with a canine companion to keep her company. Because Diamond has a strong prey drive toward birds and small animals, she may not be a good fit for a home with cats.

Diamond does well with free roam of the house during the day and sleeps peacefully on her comfy dog bed near her foster family at night.

Time with her people is very important to Diamond. She is a loving, devoted companion who tries hard to please and do the right thing. A family willing to provide patience, consistent training, daily exercise, and, most importantly, plenty of love will be rewarded with a loyal best friend. Diamond is ready to find a forever home where she can be cherished as part of the family.
