Astrid - AZ

Astrid is a 2 yr old spayed female. She weighs approximately 55 lbs. She has known a loving family and home her whole life. She currently lives with her family, including a new baby, and her litter mate sister, named Dog. For 2 years her and her sister did great together, but recently they are fighting and have sustained some injuries, so they are being kept apart now. Her family feels its best to re-home them both. Astrid is smart and a people pleaser. She is good with all people and kids that are old enough to be respectful. She has a more dominant personality, so would do ok with a non-dominant male or in a home or with no other dogs, She does well with all dogs outside the home. She has a prey drive so no cats, chickens, or other small critters. Because she is being kept separate and there is a new baby in the home, she is not getting the exercise she needs. She needs a family who can give her daily walks and back yard play time. She loves the water, so any swimming time would great for her! She would make a good running partner and hiking partner. She is house trained and crate trained.
