Zach - CO

Zach has been loved his whole life by his person. Unfortunately, his person has dementia and entered an assisted care facility. His family wants to find him a new family who will love him as much as his person loved him. Zach thinks ball is life! He will play ball with anyone who will throw it! He is good with other dogs and would do well with another dog in his new home. He likes all people, but probably best with older children or adults just because he's a big dog and can knock the little's over. Ten years old sounds old, but don't be fooled, he is spunky, energetic and full of life. He was trained for hunting at one point of his younger life, but has not hunted recently. That said, he would not be good with cats. He knows basic commands and has good recall. He is crate trained but not destructive in the home.
