Looking for tall, dark and handsome? Then I’m your guy! My name is Sterling and I’m a 4 year old GSP/lab mix looking for a family who will love me and make me their adventure buddy. My life prior to rescue was pretty awful as I wasn’t a family member and treated quite badly. But I believe in new beginnings and moving on which means finding a home where I will be appreciated for all my “sterling” qualities!

I’m housebroken, no need to be crated as I’m not destructive, I am a counter surfer so be sure to push things out of my reach. I like other dogs and have been fostered with males, and know how to use a dog door. I’m an excellent snuggler and enjoy cuddling up to watch TV or keep you company while you read. My recall is great so I’m off leash in big open spaces and always come when called. I haven’t met another dog I don’t like, kids are okay but because I’m exuberant they probably need to be older than 12 or 13 so I don’t accidently bowl them over. Car rides are the absolute best because it means something fun is going to happen! I'm neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped!
