Meet Ruger! Ruger was found in KS as a stray last November and he was a bag of bones! The authorities did not know if he would make it. Fast forward to July and he not only made it but he is a total gem, more of a diamond in the ruff! He came to us a week ago and he is the happiest, sweetest boy! His coat is soft as butter and he has the sweetest face and disposition to match! He LOVES all people and is good with other dogs! Unsure about cats. He loves being in the house close to his people but he gets really excited like maybe he never spent much time in house. When his foster Mom works (from home), she keeps him on a leash in the office with her and he has learned to quietly play with his toys or he sleeps. He enjoys being outside and enjoys the company of another dog. He does good on a leash, not a puller. We are working on house training and he is doing really good. At night he sleeps in his crate and never makes a peep. He is really smart and picks up new things quickly! He is a good eater and has no food aggression, in fact there is not an aggressive bone in his body. He is a typical size male GSP, so senior dogs and little kids may find him to be too much. He is neutered, vaccinated and chipped! He is ready for his forever home! He is located in the Denver metro area.
