Ranger is a special Pointer mix, we took in to our rescue in October. He's 9 years old. He was brought to Phoenix area after his new family found him living tied to a tree, living outside in Texas. In that part of the country it's very easy for dogs living outside to get heartworm and Ranger indeed was heartworm positive. He has been in a foster home while he went through HW treatment and recovery for the last several months. He has recovered nicely! He is feeling so good and has become VERY playful and you would not believe he is 9 years old! He is house trained, good with dogs, loves people and kids, not destructive, and walks good on a leash. He does have a prey drive. He loves squeaky toys and has a good eye for treats that are tossed his way! Ranger is ready to begin his new wonderful life with a family of his own!
