Abbey is a sweet, very active, just turned senior, female GSP. She has a sweet personality and is very smart! She knows her name and is treat motivated so she can learn new things easily. She is a pretty good running partner and also loves walks. She does have a prey drive so she wants to chase bunnies, birds, squirrels, and cats, but when you need her to focus, treats trumps critters! She is crate trained, especially if given a stuffed Kong to chew on! She is not left in the house to free roam because she is a bit mischievous! She loves to play ball or fetch with her toys and is known to toss it up and play fetch with herself! She came with her sister, although her sister came 1 week after her, we were told they were "bonded", but when her sister arrived, she let everyone know that she prefers to be an only dog! We have not had an opportunity to see how she does other dogs than her sister though, so potentially ok with others. She does not seem to have a problem with dogs she meets on walks. Abbey is shy with new people but warms up easily with women, with men it takes a little more time. She would be ok with older, respectful kids (12 and up). She is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and ready for her new forever home!
